What a busy week we had! This mama needs a nap! LOL We went apple picking, visited a museum, saw the Budweiser Clydesdale, and started processing our black walnuts. It has been a week of fun and hard work, and has brought quit a few smiles to my face. I hope you enjoy these photos as much as we did living them…..

Nothing like a bag full of freshly picked apples to give you inspiration in the kitchen! |
 |
The littlest country kid and a baby alpaca hanging out with Mickey Mouse. |
 |
No turkeys do NOT spit, there were alpacas in the same pen….. LOL |
 |
“Helping” with the morning chores…. I swear he had two shoes when we headed out! |
 |
Duck feathers are falling along with the leaves. |
 |
The oldest country kid built a foam log cabin at the museum. |
 |
The littlest country kid was caught in a speak easy and had to face a line up with his new “friends.” |
 |
Beautiful…. no other words needed. |
 |
A wonderful opportunity to visit these amazing horses! |
 |
Everyone was looking at the horses, but the dog was just as amazing to see. |

This is what 87 lbs of hulled walnuts looks like. Can’t wait to dry and shell them to use in my baking! |
Remember to take time out of your busy day to find your own things to make you smile!
That lineup picture cracks me up!
It made me giggle too!
Hi Mindie,
Love your pictures. The line up one is really funny. Wondering if Mickey Mouse & the little alpaca are friends yet>? LOL Visiting from Homestead blog hop.
I'm so glad my photos brought you a little happiness 🙂

What fun! I miss apple season up north. And I'm jealous of your walnuts.
Stopping by from the Homestead Blog Hop.
Fall is my favorite season. And as much as I hate snow, I wouldn't give up the north for anything.
Thank you for sharing at the Thursday Favorite Things blog hop
