Recently our duck, Betty, decided to be sneaky and laid a
nest of eggs. You would not believe just how smart a duck can be or just how
similar sitting ducks are to human moms with newborns! So of course I had to write about “What To Expect When Your DUCK Is Expecting!“
A friend of mine, Janet, at Timber Creek Farm had a duck who
started sitting on a nest the same time Betty pulled her little shenanigans. After
talking, we decided to have a little fun with our expectant mothers by holding
a duck race!

What is a duck race? Well it is where people number rubber
ducks and dump them in a river to see which crosses the finish line first. Don’t
worry, we are not going to dump the baby ducklings in a river!!! We decided to
hold our version of a duck race to see who hatches first! We have both numbered
our eggs and we are going to let YOU pick a number! If your number hatches first, your name (and everyone else who picked that number) will go into a drawing to win a Super Ducky Prize Pack! This is just our little way of having some fun with our naughty ducky girls.
Just to let you know, our Betty has really out done herself! Look at ALL those eggs!!!
