Toffee Apple Dip

It’s getting that time of the year, when apples take center stage. There are so many wonderful things to do with apples, including making yummy dips for them. One thing I have noticed though is most dips are caramel in nature. Why? Who says it has to be caramel on your apple? Well I say it is time for an alternative! Because trust me, toffee is apple’s new best friend!

This simple to make dip is not only super yummy with an all new kick, but it stays on your apple slices! That’s right boys and girls, no more caramel drips. Think of it as the chunky salsa of apple dips.

Ingredients

1 8 oz package of cream cheese
3/4 cup of brown sugar
1 teaspoon of vanilla
6 oz of toffee bits (3/4 of an 8oz bag)

With softened cream cheese, start by adding in the brown sugar and vanilla. Mack sure you blend it together well. Next add in the toffee bits. We used 6 ounces of toffee bits, which gave it just the right flavor and amount of crunch for us, but you can use less or more depending on your tastes.

This dip can be kept in and air tight container in the refrigerator for about 5 days, but I promise you, it won’t last that long! Don’t settle for JUST caramel anymore, because I’m telling you, toffee is where it’s at!

  1. Apple everything is heading your way 😉

With that said I like to cut apples into small pieces and dip in some melted caramel. Yum Yum!

  2. that sounds very yummy, I have a question though, what is shredded looking in the photo? When i think toffee bits I am thinking the bag of morsels..or am i wrong and its something that is chunky and shredded looking lol. it sounds so yummy I am just picturing something different I think haha

    1. Yikes ummm I didn't use anything shredded. The toffee bits are small chunks. Could just be the way I put it in the bowl… kind of tried to spread it down to look more appealing… not sure LOL

    2. Maybe its just ripples in the dip then lol. It could just be my computer and the way the colors are coming across lol.
I have to go grocery shopping tomorrow and you best believe I am getting the goods to make this! It sounds soooo good and my tummy is grumbling for it now seeing it again lol
