Many blogs out there only show you the “glamours” side of life. Well, this ain’t one of those! I keep it real, from the beautiful to the “OMG” moments of life…. This week we were canning, camping, going to the fair, and dealing with the REAL moments of life. There is no photo shopping, accent lighting, or fair godmothers here…. Just our daily life in full color! I hope you enjoy these photos as much as I did living them…..

We kicked off the week by making and canning tomato sauce. |
 |
Of course we had to go visit the county fair and chat up the goats. |
 |
I love a cool old barn and a sassy looking cow any day. |
 |
Betty’s babies are now as big as she is! |
 |
10 ducks, one pool, 24 hours, hot humid weather….. cesspool. Ugh!!!
The truly glamorous side of homesteading… LOL |
 |
Hubby and I got away for a night of camping with NO country kids!!! |
 |
What a beautiful sunset….. |
 |
Day two of camping, the country kids showed
up for some quality fishing time with dad. |
 |
Of course no week is complete without a total disaster…. Heidi the Homestead Hound
(with help from the littlest country kid) destroyed the do-it-yourself volcano kit
*smack forehead* |
These are all such great shots…especially the cow in the window! Visiting from Inspire Me Monday 🙂
Aww thanks. I love that cow too! Can't go wrong with a sassy cow!
What a great life you lead! Even the messy parts 🙂
LOL It is always an adventure…. or (mis)Adventure!
Those are some really fun pictures! How nice to get away for a little while!
It was nice, though the quietness at first was unnerving! LOL
Really beautiful Pictures and a beautiful place! Linking up from Carolyn's Homework.
Thank you and glad you popped by!
Sounds like a busy but enjoyable week with some couple time as well which is good. Thanks for sharing an insight into life on the farm with us at #WednesdaysWisdom
Thanks for taking a gander at the things that make me smile!
Love those sunset photos and how nice to have a night just you and your husband! I almost can't believe Betty's ducklings are now her size! 🙂
They just exploded into adulthood LOL Not really, just babies in big bodies.
Ahh real life – definitely lots of ups and downs. Thank you for being brave enough to share it all!
I think more folks need to be honest about what goes on in life and that not every moment is picture perfect. We are all real folks and have a responsibility to our reader to let them know we are normal just like them 🙂
You're a very good photographer! I love the photo of the ducks and the red swing. Thanks so much for sharing at the Let's Get Real Link Up!
I'm just a lady with a camera, so not a photographer but thank you so much for the compliment!!!!
Great post! it's one of my faves this week for Wake Up Wednesday! Thanks for sharing.
Aww thanks!
