A Week of Homestead Photos July 24th – 30th

We had an amazingly busy week of fun and wonderful news this week. The country kids and I had fun going to library in the park and seeing a free movie. The family visit the zoo, went to a Pokemon party and watched the volunteer firemen’s firework show. Over all it was a wonderful week of just being with family and enjoying our time together.

I also got back some wonderful news from my doctor this week. I had a biopsy on Monday and in just a couple days she called to let me know I do NOT have cancer!!! While I still need to have a hysterectomy, at least there is no cancer!! I am so thankful that there is one less thing to have to “handle.”

The oldest country kid continues to work on fair projects for next month. He is really doing an amazing job on his projects. He is such a creative kid!

So what made me smile this week?

The oldest country won a $100 gift card from Family Farm and Home!!!
Cinder and Ester trying to figure out how to play double dutch with the hose.

Poor Ester having a bad “hair” day as the high
temps caused her to go into an instant molt.
The oldest country kid doing his imitation of poor bald Ester! LOL

Heidi the homestead hound and her amazing tail chasing skill!

The young girls and their comedy styling. Ever seen a two headed chicken before?!?!

Giving Mr. Mario some love before he headed to his new forever home.

Mario going for a car ride on the way to his new home.
He called shot gun, much to the oldest country kid’s dismay.

All the flowers blooming in are yard!

The oldest country kid, keeping his promise to clean the new, bigger duck pool.

The ducks enjoying their cleaned pool.

Developing duck eggs! Can you see the duckling wiggling?!?!
My goofy little critters at the zoo.
Small town American, enjoying fireworks as a family.

Remember to take time out of your busy day to find your own things to make you smile!
